Before You Submit Your Order. Please check the Order Form prior to submitting it, in order to ensure accuracy of the item numbers, sizes, finishes, and fabrics. Your order will be placed exactly as submitted. It is also important to take measurements to make sure the furniture you are purchasing will fit through your house and can be placed in the area of your choosing. All measurements shown on the website are rounded to the inch but may vary from the actual measurement of the item once produced and received. On our website, we strive to provide an accurate representation of the finishes; however, due to change9s in lighting and a wide variety of resolution qualities on different computer monitors, some color variation is possible. To determine the exact color of a finish, we suggest that you examine the actual product or see if a finish sample is available.

Deposits.

Up to a fifty percent (50%) deposit is required on custom orders except those listed below. When the furniture arrives at our distribution center, you will be notified and required to pay the balance by credit card or alternate payment.

A one hundred percent (100%) deposit is required on quick-ship orders requiring immediate shipment, or delayed shipment.

Customer's Own Material (COM). Furniture made from COM will be subject to a handling charge of $25.00. Please be aware the manner in which customer's fabric or other material is applied (e.g., the direction of the pattern, etc.) will be at the discretion of the factory. THERE ARE NO RETURNS OF COM ORDERS FOR ANY REASON.

Split Shipment. If a split shipment for any item on your order is approved, you will be required to pay the balance on the delivered items and to maintain a fifty percent (50%) deposit on the remaining items (unless the remaining items require 100%deposit). Additional delivery charges may also apply.

Change of Orders. Order changes will be allowed only when the item(s) have not shipped (for quick-ship items) or when Modloft.com has the ability to change the order with the factory. Each permitted order change may be subject to a $25.00 handling charge. Requests for order changes must be in writing by the customer and sent via email.

Cancelled Orders. You may cancel your order any time after placing your order. If your furniture has not been picked up from the warehouse, you may cancel it at no charge. However, if the item has already been picked up, you will be responsible for a 50% restocking fee. If at the time of delivery you decide you do not want the furniture or thought it would match your decor better, you can refuse the shipment, at this point you would only be charged the delivery fee and up to a 50% restocking fee. After our delivery team has left your house and you decide to return the furniture, simply return the furniture to us at your expense and we will gladly give you a refund less up to 50% restocking fee. You may contact us at any time to check the status of your order.

Delivery Charges. Quotes for delivery charges are based on normal delivery conditions. The delivery quote you receive is guaranteed to be within 10% of the quoted price not withstanding any Special items. Special items must be agreed upon at the time the order is placed. (Examples: limited hours of access to your neighborhood, building or freight elevator, limited access to your home by large trucks, More than one flight of stairs, etc.) The customer will be responsible for all delivery charges including those which exceed those quoted by Modloft.com.

Expected Time Of Delivery. The delivery times depends a great deal upon availability and final destination. If the items are in stock at the warehouse, we average 10 days on the East Coast and 20 days on the West Coast for delivery. There is a great chance you will receive your items quicker and we will always do everything we can to insure timely delivery. Please Note: These are estimates, not guarantees. When it comes to delivery times, we are at the mercy of the delivery companies. Normally we are able ship your furniture from the warehouse within 2-4 days of your order, stock permitting. At that point your furniture will be on the next truck to your area which is about every 7-10 days on the East Coast, and 14-20 days on the West Coast. If we see there's going to be an unusual delay in your shipment, we will notify you. Custom ordered items require up to 14 weeks to arrive in our warehouse, and then normal delivery times apply.

Holding Your Order. You will be notified when your order is received at our distribution center. Orders held at our distribution center more than thirty (30) days after notification at the customer's request may be assessed a nominal storage fee by the distribution center.
