Inspiration strikes with the Lucerne, a low profile contemporary sofa having wide armrests and a low frame.
Perfect proportions and a relaxed fit can take Lucerne from casual to formal in any living space. Superb comfort is highlighted with a single, deep, bench seat filled in feather and down. Backrest pillows and oversized throw pillows (in accentuating fabric) provides both structure and casual relaxation. Round, decorative, bolsters keep the back pillows from sliding. Finished in rich, textured fabrics in basketweave patterns. Sofa frame made of solid alder wood. Hidden, recessed legs lift the frame off the floor. Sofa configuration as shown includes one left-facing chaise, two armless and one right-facing chaise unit.

Well it came in a box, inside the box it was fully invaded in plastic to protect it, however there was plastic under the plastic secured to the fabric with stretch type plastic. Dust that had collected in this plastic was smash into the fabric, they set up cleaning and the cleaner found a rip from shipping! Modloft is replacing it but I have to wait another 6-8 weeks. Overall it's comfortable, wrinkles easily, chase could be a few inches longer!

The sofa definitely needs better stuffing sat down once and it already looks worn out , I was going to have them re stuffed however the cushions are sewn down

The Lucerne'sfabric makes it perfect for a corner sofa piece. The fabric is soft and the backing is sturdy. The piece can be combined to accommodate other sofa pieces and adjust it to the size of your room. I'd buy it again to make it part of a different configuration.

The piece is very nicely designed, elegant but casual. The proportions are good for laying down or seating. I have used it to host friends overnight.
