We love this chair! We bought two to place in a deep bay window to take advantage of a 6th floor view. The base is very a very solid and heavy metal and supports the chair well. The chair is level and swivels easily in all directions. The chair is lower to the ground than some, but fits well with our other decor. The wood paneled back and sides are beautiful and arrived with NO flaws or scratches anywhere. They definitely are a feature of the chairs we enjoy looking at all the time. The seat cushion, sides and back are on the stiff side, but the ergonomics of the chair is great and it is wonderfully comfortable for us both to sit and read for hours. We feel well supported by the chair. We also ordered matching foot stools and they are perfect. The legs are metal and they match the base of the chair exactly. It's really a great chair. We are pleased.

Originally we wanted 4 lounge chairs and these were a bit over our budget. However, we loved them so much that we ordered two. Now that we have had them a few weeks I can say that these chairs are absolutely beautiful, and more importantly they are extremely well built. Everyone who sees them in our home (even the delivery guys) notice and compliment these chairs. We have since ordered two more so that we will now have the original four we were planning for.
